Dental Bone Graft

Dental bone grafts are specialized procedures that have been developed for re-growing jaw bone that has been lost.  The loss can be as a result of:

• Loss of a tooth or teeth
• A dental infection or abscess
• Periodontal disease
• Trauma or accidents

There are various techniques for growing bone.  Each technique is advantages for certain types of bony defects.  Your periodontist needs to skilled and experienced with all of the available techniques so that he or she can offer the best suited treatment for your particular case.
